i gotta admit it was a cool place for an unauthorized noise show. once you get past the playgrounds below they still have all kinds of freaktastic cages replete with graffiti tucked into the hills. Looked like the ideal setting for a horror movie…and/or bobcat goldthwait’s hideout in police academy 2.

I remember back in the day before they turned the old zoo into a park. my friends and would sneak in there get drunk and take eerie black and white photos.
