It is not only possible but very probable that you will get pinched at Peking Palace, 717 N. Broadway, lest you ask the clerk for assistance while bagging live female blue crabs at a very reasonable $3.98 /lb. Hey let’s face it if some giant foreign hand were to pick me up to eat me I’d pinch like a madman myself.
Things to remember:
An average blue crab weighs about 1/3 pound with the edible portion quite low.
An experienced crab picker can produce about 2 1/4 ounces of meat from each pound of live blue crabs. This is about a 14% yield. The actual yield depends on the size of the individual crab and experience of the crab picker.

“Pinch all you want sumbitch I will soon be eating 14% of your sum total.” Peking Palace would like you to know that larger crabs with considerably stronger pinches resulting in longer-lasting scars and bigger bruises are also available at a rate of $4.98/lb.

Great photo of the Public Access Hollywood gang. Why is Francine Dancer in a wheelchair?
Francine apparently has a back injury which confines her to the wheelchair most of the time. Amazingly, when it comes time to dance she is able to get up out of the chair and dance with the best of them. Truly miraculous.
