OK, so he’s a fat cross-dresser who sings experimental cabaret songs about becoming a girl one day. The bitch can sing. Two weeks ago Antony’s I Am a Bird Now was awarded the Mercury Award for best album of the year by a British or Irish act beating out Coldplay, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs and MIA.
