"Conejo" means "rabbit" or "jackrabbit" in high Castellano, but I'm sure it has some vulgar connotation in Cuban Spanish.

Thanks buddy. Hey what does 'conejo' mean in English? Doesn't it mean like 'ballgrabber' or something? In Scarface they keep calling each other 'conejo' and I could never figure it out.
Also what happened to Steven Bauer? The guy was intense.

As an postscript to DeMarco's latest piece, I thought I should call your (ya, you) attention to this happening that brightened my otherwise boring day earlier today. While on a coffee break in the Conejo Valley, I stumbled into the Starbucks located on the corner of Moorpark Rd. and Thousand Oaks Blvd. and ordered a grande drip coffee. An attractive lady ("AL") in line in front of me fondled a package of assorted "petite cookies" near the cash register and informed the cashier (“C”) would be purchasing said cookies package. Then things got weird:

<blockquote>
C: What are those?
AL: I don't know...cookies?
C: Weird.
AL: Yeah.
C: I've never seen them before...
[The cashier then turned to a barista, and asked him about the
cookies. The barista didn't know what the cookies were.]
AL: How much are they?
C: I guess they are free.
</blockquote>

Actually, C, those cookies cost 35 cents each. I know because I just called the Starbucks on South Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills. Twelve cookies come in the package that the AL took for free. Guess what happened next? Everyone else in line got a free package of delicious cookies — in raspberry, gingerbread, and peppermint flavors. Happy holidays from Starbucks of the Conejo Valley!

The parking sucks, and I don't drink coffee, but Pico/Robertson is a pretty awesome area. Lots of bitchin' little shops that almost make me forget that I'm not Jewish.
