I was talking with the dudes there… apparently the “new” location is actually the owner’s brother’s place and they are still looking for a new location for Chihuahua in Santa Monica.

Well, I just hit up some of Taqueria Chihuahua’s new neighborhood competition, and it looks like the bar is pretty high. Tacos Estilo MÃ©xico has some damn good adobada. (Adobada:al pastor::Texas BBQ:North Carolina BBQ.)

I can assure you that Mar Vista is NOT rowdy, although a riot is always on the verge of breaking out at the 90066 post office because the staff there is incompetent.
