Sake Illuminated

Sake Illuminated was a great event to benefit the Little Tokyo Service Center. As you can see, sake (and beer!) were in fact served while the art of the Museum of Neon Art blazed in the background. A lively mix of professionals, downtown administrative types and the merely curious turned out. By all accounts, the tasting and silent auction were hits. These mediocre photographs don’t really convey the conviviality of the evening. The LTSC also puts on the L.A. Tofu Festival at the end of summer. We are already looking ahead to it.
This is actually a composite timelapse photograph of the decline my vision over the course of the night: 7 pm-9 pm, going left to right.

I’m so bummed that I had to work. I really really really wanted to go to this. I wish I could stop traveling for a little bit.
this is so cool that you guys covered the event. i actually start working at the ltsc on monday! i missed the event because i have been away on my unemployed vacation in new york.
