where was the cheesecake factory in woodland hills before the canoga avenue location was built. i remember going to the cheesecake factory when it was in an industrial area.

But if all of The Cheesecake Factories, Mimi’s Cafes, Chili’s', Olive Gardens, Fudd Rucker’s', California Pizza Kitchens, Wolfgang Puck’s', TGI Friday’s', Red Lobsters, PF Changs’, Sizzlers, Buca di Beppos, Applebee’s', Cracker Barrels, Lonestar Steakhouses, Red Robins, Old Spaghetti Factories, and Macaroni Grills close down, where will we go to eat when we need a break and a nice night out of our stucco-clad KB Home, you know, and a break from all of those healthy meals at our favorite McDonalds’, Burger Kings, Taco Bells, and Pizza Huts?

More importantly, what will AMC and Regal Cinemas do with all that unleased mall space across America? Open another Target? PEOPLE! This is a crisis! We must use federal money to rescue The Cheescake Factory from bankruptcy, or we will all once again be forced to eat at Denny’s! This is unacceptable.

And oh yes, additionally, I think they were the ones who really popularized the American(tm) restaurant portion size as it exists today–namely, a plate containing approx. four-six servings each of carbs, meat, and sugar.

Oh! Oh! I myself ~did~ have my prom dinner at the one in Woodland Hills!

That location offers (maybe not any more?) a gi-normous appetizer plate of potato skins not found at any of the other locations. It is the hand of God. I have found nothing else of earth so fucking greasy and delicious.

Cheesecake factory may be the only restaraunt I know of that devotes a good 50% of its leather-bound menu to full-page glossy ads for area jewelry stores. Crass. Serious buzzkill.

Mostly I’m just impressed that Victor went on so many trips to the Cheesecake Factory with tables full of hot babes.

The Oxnard lettuce field would be cheaper, but you’d be spending your time with stray beetles instead of hot babes. More protein, less ass.
