I must take a vow to proactively and retroactivly protest ALL of this nonsense. For instance, next weekend I will go to Big Sur where I will be totally disconnected from all Los Angeles life and nightlife. In the meantime, I also vow to protest any band playing anywhere unless it is in my living room. Yeah, I like the sound of that… that is by far the most righteous venue.

Ron, I have a vision of a glorious free rock show: Wolf Parade on the football field at Los Angeles High. El Pecas #2 could drive a few blocks over to provide tacos, and plug into the grid for power instead of having to use that damn generator that always runs out of gas right as I’m ordering. WP could name their next album Apologies to Longwood Highlands.

We can make this a reality, guys.
