Although a more fitting location would be outside a bar, this mysterious concrete monument to The Man stands on a patch of sidewalk near the DGA at Sunset and Fairfax. It is uncertain whether Harry did this himself (in which case it would have been with his bare finger in dry concrete) or a minion etched the inscription, but you can rest assured that generations to come will marvel at the landmark. Who needs a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame when you’ve got this?

nice capture. a reader sent in a similar sighting, found outside an apartment at Harvard & Russell in Hollywood. Different penmanship. I think it’s safe to say both men wrote their own names.
That is amazing. I wonder if I can somehow find out if these are for real. And now I’m going to go write my own name in concrete, just in case I ever get famous.
