The police’s action constitutes an abuse of their power. Tasering is not to be used in civil disobedience situations, only when bodily injury is possible. Furthermore, they have no right to ask for ID on a public university campus.
If you don’t show your ID when the CSO asks for it, and then you don’t show it when the CSO supervisor asks for it, then you act like a wannabe-revolutionary drama queen when the UCPD show up, you deserved to be tasered. It’s not like they check IDS 24/7. It’s after 11 P.M. only. How fucking hard is it to follow that rule?
I agree completely with Pablo. As a former USC computer lab employee who is married to a UCLA employee, I have seen and been part of many of these situations. Remember undergrads are adults-in-training and have no idea of what the real world is really like.
I’m with Pablo and Bruce, why don’t the mud people follow our rules? They’re pretty easy. The Tazer Gestapo is there for a reason, to protect us from rule-breakers, because rule are never made to be broken. Let’s get together tomorrow Pab and Bru, for a tri-chupada, at the glory hole on the 3rd floor, 5pm? See you there!
If he had just shown his ID like they asked, none of this would have happened.

Bruins get what they deserve! Go USC!
I have no valid point to contribute to this debate! I merely enjoy arguing and seeing my comments published!
Nurf Mages!
Comment type E | This never would have happened if Interpol were there. Jajaja.

Is it possible that Lady SOV was tazered after four songs and didn’t realize it? Had she earlier refused to show her backstage pass?
And, to Mamones Unite: outside of Inland Empire trailer parks (and the El Rey, apparently) tazers only work on mud people.
Tri-chupada
HAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
