The Chinatownland sign was a work of art made by my husband, Andre Yi. I helped put it up. It was part of a larger project called "Landmark Photo Salon", which was an exhibit at The New Chinatown Barbershot, a project run by Annie Shaw. I like to google it every now and then to see what wacky shit it has ended up on. The latest: a horrid pseudo kung-fu/luchadore short film called "viva chinatownland". ***shudder****

"ANAL WIND NOTCH" would be a great band name. I'm thinking something on the skronky side of math-rock. Maybe that's because it sounds like it could be a Hella song title.

Just googled it. Apparently it's a work of art erected in 2002.

Origins, not so much. But I would be damn willing to try to rearange the letters to read: NACHOLAND. I Tried to come up with an equally humorous word scramble, but found there are too many N's and that nothing else really made any sense. Hey, I tried. And NACHOLAND makes hell of a lot of sense. For the CHINATOWNLAND sign word scramble, I imagine all one would need is a common garden hoe, perhaps a sledge hammer, and some all mighty man power. Also, I might ask, is the fence electric? That could put a damper on any so called efforts. God, damn, its good to be unemployed.

Also, I learned once, at the Illinois State Fair, that Nacho can be spelled: NATCHO

Check my flickr website.

Thanks, Thanks a million.
