Just a little curious about the Morrissey show sale. Tickets were more available at the pre-sale than the actual sale plus there didn’t seem to be PIT available any night. Mmmm… How about them apples? I guess KROQ will be giving those away for people that couldn’t get tickets for any of the 3 nights.

what happened to the lily allen @ the fonda show? tickets never went on sale and then it just disappeared from ticketmaster’s database…

  6. Posted by Andrew 1/16/07 at 3:46 pm #

Good thing I RSVP’d for the Lynch thing last week it looks like it is sold outttt. Whoever couldn’t get a ticket just go see Inland Empire again.

Donovan is also a transcendental meditation practicant. They are making a joint pitch for TM. I really wish Lynch would get off this kick of selling TM. (His new book is full of plugs for TM.) The current cost for “learning” the trademarked TM technique is $2500. There are plenty of practices out there that don’t require (excessive) money from those searching for help.

“what happened to the lily allen @ the fonda show? tickets never went on sale and then it just disappeared from ticketmaster’s database…”

I’m guessing she’ll be doing Coachella instead.

Uhbosedly “up to” 1000 tickets will be available at the door for the live Donovan/Lynch TM infomercial. Wonder if any Scientologists will be converted….

Also, apparently Inland Empire is no longer playing in LA…though you may be able to catch it in San Fran this month.

via saddle creek newsletter regarding bright eyes

Advance tickets for all dates will be available January 18 though a special online pre-sale. Further information on the pre-sale will be posted on the Saddle Creek news page this Wednesday evening. Tickets sold through the pre-sale will have reduced service charges. The regular on sale for each show will be on January 25 via each venue’s regular ticketing outlets. This smaller tour will be followed by a full US tour in the spring.

I just found out yesterday that Enon cancelled their tour with Of Montreal. I had to check them out after one of the 20 GNR guitarists was wearing their tee.

Anyway, since Ariel Pink is now opening the Saturday Avalon (27th) show and will be playing a My First Sony keyboard attached to a Chewbacca sash, I’d be willing to give my ticket away. Fo Free. Email me at westolowski@yahoo.com if interested. I’ll priority mail it to you. They’ve sold out the Troubadour on Sunday but tickets are also still available for the Friday El Rey show.
