peter bjorn and johnPICK OF THE WEEK: Peter, Bjorn and John @ The Roxy

In the tradition of Sam and Dave, Peter, Paul and Mary, Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, and Simon and Garfunkel, Peter, Björn, and John buck the trend of fancypants band monickers and simply name themselves after themselves. Somehow being more egotistical feels less so. Morén, Yttling, and Eriksson Thursday at The Roxy.

Anybody know if it’s possible to still get in to see The Watson Twins? Like, if you just show up at the Getty? The Getty site says it’s sold out. :(

  9. Posted by Ron 1/30/07 at 7:29 pm # Reply

Lots of no-shows at the Getty so they have a first come, first served waitlist. The only time I haven’t been able to get in without reservations was for Eric Idle a few years ago.

The Watson Twins just confirmed a two more dates if you don’t make it to the Getty –
3/4 at the Hotel Cafe with Everest
3/6 at the Prospector in Long Beach

You Killers fan(s) can grab GA tickets to their Santa Barbara show now using presale password: samstown. Nice drive up the coast and better venue. I can’t believe these jokers are playing Staples Center here.
