Everything But the Kitschen Sync @ La Luz de Jesus
Now in its tenth year, this enormous exhibition will feature work from some of the most relevant artists working today.

Fifty Years of Janus Films @ LACMA
A month-long run of choice selections from the esteemed Janus art house catalog. Rare 35mm screenings of classics, including Rashômon, The 400 Blows, L’Avventura, The Rules of the Game, and many more. Double bills each Friday and Saturday from 3/2-4/7, beginning at 7:30 pm. Leo S. Bing Theater at LACMA.

ASSSCAT @ Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre
The Upright Citizens Brigade are taping their improv show ASSSCAT on March 3rd and 4th for a forthcoming DVD. The show will include Amy Poehler, Matt Besser, Ian Roberts, Matt Walsh, Horatio Sanz, Chad Carter, Sean Conroy and Andrew Daly. The Sunday, March 4 9:30pm show is FREE but reservations are not accepted. Through Sun 3/4.

Island of Relative Stability @ sixspace
In his work, Sean Higgins explores how to image or create the unknown. By depicting purposely-vague environments where location and situation is left to interpretation, Higgins creates an environment where the viewer has no place to stand and no solid sense of place. Through Sat 3/31.

L.A. Derby Dolls: Sirens vs. Tough Cookies
The rebellious girl gang in green goes skate to skate against the brutal women in blue. Don your riot gear, as it’s bound to be a bloodthirsty battle for banked track dominance!

Little One-Inch @ Theatre Raymond Kabbaz
Inspired by a Japanese folk tale, this puppet show depicts the adventures of Issun, a tiny boy, no bigger than a person’s thumb.

Secrets Travel @ BLK/MRKT
Vancouver-based artist Ben Tour’s “Secrets Travel” evidences the evolution of his thematic concerns, and affords the viewer the opportunity to appreciate the continual refinement of his multi-layered and uniquely crafted approach to painting and works on paper. Through Sat 3/31.

Grindhouse Festival
Quentin Tarantino has programmed two months of non-stop grindhouse mayhem at the New Beverly, taking over the entire March and April calendar with incredible double and triple features! Rare prints and trailers! Personal appearances by Tarantino! Double and triple bills! Through Tue 5/1.

Yo! What Happened to Peace?
Exhibition of contemporary pro-peace, anti-war & anti-occupation posters, designed to spread the message of non-violence and showcase the beauty of hand-crafted printing. Through Sun 4/1.
