Ted and his Pharmacists roll into town for two shows. His current tour is a rock n’ roll barn burner by all accounts. Surely the generally sedate NPR airwaves have never been rocked so thoroughly as when they broadcast his entire D.C. show last month. Take your meds and see for yourself.

Bright Eyes tickets can still be purchased if you don’t mind going to Santa Barbara and a day earlier instead (compared to the sold-out show at L.A.’s Disney Concert Hall), 5/5.

The Nightwatchman (Tom Morello) is playing Hotel Cafe 3 Tuesdays this month with Special Guests, 4/10, 4/17 & 4/24.

Matt Skiba & Chuck Ragan will be at the Troubadour 5/10.

All I have right now besides what I posted and you already posted. I know Cursive is playing the WIltern May 1st. Yeah, you we’re right on about Mars Volta. If Interpol has a “secret” show in L.A., when and where would it be? They play in Vancouver the Wednesday of Coachella, then they play Saturday at Coachella, then Vegas Saturday. Unless they’re the other mystery band Thursday at the Glasshouse along w/ Icarus Line and Jesus & Mary Chain…..

I’m dying to know the Interpol secret show info too! The Henry Fonda and Avalon appear to be free on April 26.

Deftones play June 28th at the Gibson. The Interpol date might be closer to the date they play. If Friday at Coachella was sold out already, we’d probably already know. Also, they might be playing under their alias so only fans of their would know it’s them. It’s probably not going to be under Deimos…..

Nickleback could also be playing at The Echo. The ExPlx is booked the 26th to a different band though. If it’s good enough for Beck, it’s good enough for Nickleback!

Usually 5 songs for Kimmel outdoor shows. Only exception I recall was when Green Day did 7 songs in 2004.

Giant Drag is the other band besides Icarus Line playing with Jesus & Mary Chain at the Glasshouse. It’s not Nickleback like some of you might have guessed….Welcome back online Losanjealous BTW!
