   Ok, the owner of Dimples CONFIRMED the show being there staring at 7:30pm – 10:00pm. He said it’s a “private” show. Something about a contest. The drummer was right. Wait, did I just blow the show’s cover? Hee hee. Yay! Comments over 100 and it’s barely Wednesday!

   I just did! Dimples in Burbank. Across the street from Warner Music. Yes, justice is playing ExPlx Monday. The little cross in “Surprise GuesT” was the give away. Good times.

    If someone were to fill that slot, Bagel, I’d feel sorry for them as they’d have to set up, do the show, and tear down in less than an hour.

    I didn’t get a chance to comment again yesterday, but if you checked out their site, they had a live webcast of The Cribs show: http://www.dimplesshowcase.com/ Also, if you’ve been there before, they have a screen outside that shows the performances inside. So if you went and didn’t get in, you could watch outside. Sorry about forgetting to post this info yesterday. Did you go Tina?

    Did ANYONE go to this Cribs show? This looks like a case of making a secret show too secret. These guys are not THAT big and they could have used the buzz of a more publicized “secret show”, especially with a new record on the way.

    How many people check this page out besides us? It it gets people coming to visit Losanjealous, then it’s a good thing for them. It’s not like we were promoting an Ashley Simpson Secret Show. The reason I pumped it up is because Frank wanted to go to the show and it was a challenge to get the info for the loyal Losanjealinos!

    Oscar’s right–Cribs ain’t no Ashley Simps. It’s just fun to be a detective on the case.

    Took me about 1:10 to get to the Glass House last night for Blonde Redhead. Leaving about 7 pm and coming from the Westside, so not too bad.

    I was at *cough**cough*Jet*cough**cough* @ The Troubadour last night and actually ordered the $5 french fries from someone claiming to be the chef there. It wasn’t one of the the bored, angry men; but a more cheerful middle-aged man. The fries weren’t frozen inside but they weren’t as crisp to my liking.

    When did Jet start attracting members of hair metal bands? For a while, I thought it was the Britny Fox and Enuff Z’Nuff show with all the long haired males around. I was even sitting near Vince Neil up in the balcony.

    Damn, how much are those tickets going for!? I think ScarJo is going on maybe 10pm? It’s up to her what time JAMC go on since they’re backing her up. There is a quiet stillness in the wind on whether there is a “secret” Nickleback show today. I think one of the two bands for the CYP Anniversary show has to be The Teddybears. I’m glad we beat out the pervfest BTW!

    Blonde Redhead were scheduled for 9 and went on about 9:15 or so. Annuals went right on at 8. I’m guessing with 2 openers tonight, JAMC will go on closer to 10 pm. Then, Interpol can go on at 11:30 pm.

    Tomorrow kicks off Friday Night concerts at Hollywood Park! Starting off with the Romantics (What I like about you..) Other notables include Dramarama May 18, A Flock Of Seagulls with When In Rome May 25, and Berlin June 29.

    Which reminds me of The Flaming Lips at Del Mar racetrack last year, great show!
