Quoth Vanessa, one of our ticket winners:
On national Where the f*ck are my Keys Day, Chloe and Asya rockedtheir multicolored socks off. Smoosh is possibly the best thing to emerge from Seattle since Nirvana. or Pearl Jam. or Minus the Bear. Despite the fact that I got my education on a few blocks away from the monstrosity that is Hollywood and Highland, I have never been to the Knitting factory. I do not blame myself. Why would anyone think that anything is tucked behind the wreakage that was once Hollywood galaxy?
The crowd is what won me over during the show. You mean there aren’t any drunk old men trying to get into my pants? No thank you, I’m going to Coachella on Friday and I’ll probably get a grand helping of that. Here’s my point: the age group under 15 are resilient to bullshit.
Look at this kid. He knows that he’s listening to solid gold:
Smoosh presents no bullshit, just fine drumming and synth.
Thanks for the tickets. I knew I faithfully read losanjealous for reasons other than your freeway sign.

They are so, so very tiny. It’s really adorable. Check out how the girl playing bass is dwarfed by her instrument–a short-scale Fender (produced under various names) designed as a student model.
Did they play “MMM..Bop”?
i was another winner of the tix from los anjealous, how can i top this review? not a chance. smoosh was bitchenass tho. i saw them a long few months ago in minnesota at the minnesota zoo with the eels. smoosh the best thing from seattle since nirvana? i say the best since jimi!!!
