Live vs. Grand Avenue, lessee here... L.A. Live has jocky people doing sports things. Hell, ESPN is having its headquarters there. Makes me hate its guts already. The Nokia Theater is going to be hosting pointless turd fests like the Grammy Awards. Which would make you think I'd be hanging out a lot more at the corner of Grand and First, right? Sadly, no. Not really interested in the next L.A. Philharmonic performance. The only time I've gone to Disney Hall was when Brian Wilson and his minions performed "Smile" there. News has also just bubbled up that right across the street from Disney Hall will be (if we are very, very lucky) an Apple Store! Holy shit! But no, L.A. Live will have a 14 screen movie theater. Winner: L.A. Live. I'll be spending more time in Jockland than Longhairsville due to that multiplex cinema. It's also closer to Pantry. I need my chewy, chewy steaks. Hmmm, L.A.
