    Welcome back, Frank.

Clap Your Hands @ Troub x 3 just went on sale.

The Sonic Youth @ UO thing is yet ANOTHER one of those annoying line up for hours and hours and hope to get in things. The worthless “e-ticket” is here:

Frank, can you tell where the heck you can buy tickets for The Field?!?!

I knew about this for a while and called Joseph’s Cafe, but they know nothing about it. I even left my number for them to call back and they never did!

    Frustrating…

Yo Frank, where are you rollin tonight? My pick of the night is The Veils @ Spaceland. Yeah yuh.

  11. Posted by Frank 6/29/07 at 7:33 pm # Reply

I’m feeling The Veils tonight too!
    Should be a great show

  12. Posted by Ryan 6/29/07 at 7:48 pm # Reply

    See you boys there.

The Veils show kicked A$$! Is was so packed too. Saw some band members of some bigger bands checking out the show. Great show all around!

  14. Posted by Ryan 6/30/07 at 9:47 am # Reply

Oscar I did not see you. But, to be fair, I was preoccupied staring at everybody’s phones. Only saw one iPhone in the house.

  15. Posted by Anthony 6/30/07 at 10:15 am # Reply

    Heads up:

    M.I.A. @ The Echo (8/1)

  16. Posted by Anthony 6/30/07 at 10:20 am # Reply

    ***CORRECTION***

    M.I.A. @ Union Station (8/1)

that should be interesting, i wonder where she is going to perform? in a train, on the platform? haha

I was in front left of the stage against the wall most of the night. Between The Comas & The Veils, I was at the merch booth where the drummer from 90’s band VSS & members of Hot Hot Heat were checking out the show shooting the sh%$t. I didn’t see you Ryan or any iPhones. Also, that M.I.A. show might be one of those FREE shows where you have to have a day pass and take the Red Line to see them free. They did that last year too with Secret Machines. Here’s the link to last year’s show: http://fashionpeace.com/pda/index.html

Has anyone else noticed a slight service fee hike recently with Ticketweb? I bought two 10 dollar tickets yesterday and the service fee was 4.50 each, bumping the total to $29.

I realize it’s still cheaper than TM, but a 4.50 service fee on 10 dollars is a 45% fee.

  19. Posted by Oscar 6/30/07 at 6:25 pm # Reply

Ticketweb is owned by Ticketmaster now BTW. That might explain the slightly highers rates.

  20. Posted by Michael 7/1/07 at 6:43 pm # Reply

Anyone have any info on who is performing at the 826 benefit, 7/25 at Largo?

  21. Posted by Rose 7/1/07 at 7:03 pm # Reply

I tried buying tickets for M.I.A. but they are “currently unavailable.” Does anyone know if that page will be up again, or is it already sold out…?? Thanks!

p.s. I am very excited Girl Talk went on sale.

  22. Posted by Oscar 7/1/07 at 8:59 pm # Reply

Wow, Sold Out already for M.I.A. Galang galang!

  23. Posted by Michael 7/1/07 at 9:08 pm # Reply

I don’t think it is sold out, just taken off the site for some reason. When shows sell out on Ticketweb they are usually still listed.
