I was at this show too……cool blog and all, but couldn’t you spend more time talking about DJ shadow and cut’s mixes and style of performance?

haha…..i know……i shoudl write my own blog if i ‘m gonna say anything about someone else’s….

News Flash:

You don’t need to “sneek” booze into the Hollywood Bowl folks! It is premitted to bring in your own cooler full of the stuff! check out their website…..

sadly, shadow will not be back to the states for some time to play again, it seems……

good thing we “caught the shadow…..before it was gone”

Hm, I guess $7.50 is not that pricey by the standards of some other locales, even if it does get you just Coors Light.

I like the idea of a price per ounce comparison of the major local venues. This seems like an ideal subject matter for a wiki-style collaboration, perhaps.

Great idea Ryan. Too bad I don’t drink, let alone beer. I do remember paying $3.50 for a 12oz PBR @ The Metro in Chicago back in 2005. Hmm..I’m trying to remember how much I paid for my gin & tonic at the Avalon.

nice writeup DF. however 20 oz. booze for 7.50 is sadly not terrible when compared to some venues. what we need is a full breakdown of the price of beers at every venue in town.

rudimentary example:
