Westside Traffic: 8.7

It is admittedly not every day one has enough free time to upload a goddam blog article while behind the wheel. Yesterday’s “7″ should have served as sufficient foreshadowing, but did I heed the warning signs? Did I?!? Do the math denizen, I’m blogging in my goddam car choking on diesel someplace on Sawtelle. Where’s the bar? Good luck out there.

I didn’t hear anything about a mattress on the 405. Who knows?
I am addicted to traffic.com, and have it preprogrammed to send a text to my mobile phone when traffic on my commute hits 7 or higher. Sadly, I get those texts almost daily. In these cases, I switch to my surface streets route (which in my case is Carbon Canyon between Orange and San Bernardino Counties).
I actually took a similar picture once, on Grand Avenue in Chino Hills headed toward Diamond Bar. And I was in absolutely no danger by doing this; traffic was completely stopped.
