Get Ten Morrissey Shows for the Price of Nine!
When Morrissey tickets go on sale this Monday at 10 a.m., the most ardent of fans will be happy to find that a “season ticket” of sorts will be available. For these dedicated planning to attend all ten (10) shows–which are being billed as the “last shows Morrissey will do for the foreseeable future”–a special discounted rate for the will be available for the full run of the Palladium engagement. The savings effectively makes one of the shows free. Along with the savings, season ticket holders will get VIP early entrance–which, given the Palladium’s Guantanamo-esque entry procedures, may be worth it alone–and a commerative poster.
One other interesting tidbit from the press release is that Morrissey claims to have turned down $75 million to reform The Smiths for a full tour, even minus the original rhythm section.
