Frankly, the sound sucked at the Bowl last night! I've seen plenty of wonderful shows at that venue but for some reason, the vocals seemed muddled and soft - I had to lean over to my friend who was unfamiliar with the band and exclaim, HE'S SAYING DAFT PUNK IS PLAYING AT HIS HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!

After this and the Muse @ Verizon Amphitheatre shows, I'm thinking it's time to give up these large venue shows (exception Van Halen since I've never seen them with Diamond Dave). Like Pete said, too many people there to drink and talking!! I liked, though, this show better than the Greek Theatre one back in May due to the more animated people around me in the pool circle. And LCD Soundsystem was so much fun.

Official attendance was something around 13,435. It was written on some whiteboard on the way out.

LCD was awesome but needed to be a lot louder, and most of the audience was still finding its seats throughout its set. Still, I was dancing like a maniac in the aisle between F2 and F3 but.

The Arcade Fire had muddy sound and seemed a little flat, honestly. The set sequencing was dreadful. Most of all, though, most audience members clearly were there to drink more than they were to listen; if you don't think that impacts the power of the performance, you're mistaken.
