actually i figured it out.

i just searched and searched until i found what i thought was the password, and when that one didn’t work, i just tried variations of the same word and got right in.

took about 2 hours to figure it out, but i just pre-purchased my tickets for the oakland show!!

they are having an auction for orchestra pit seats starting tomorrow and i plan to bid for those as well……if i win i will have two tickets for sale!!

i am the happiest person on earth right about now!!

do you know how one would find a website for the fan club to join?? i want to get tickets for the show out in oakland, ca and the fan club tickets are on sale today.

i can’t find any links to any official fan club where i could join……whether i get in in time for the pre-sale tickets or not i would still like to join.

any help would be appreciated.

The band is from England and were named Yazoo. They only changed their name for the US audience at the advice from record executives because they were told that “Yazoo” was too similar to the name “Wazoo,” which is American slang for your posterior.

There was another band in the US named Yazoo.

It’s a slightly more elegant solution to the problem than the typical one, which is to add some sort of geographic signifier to your name–e.g. “The London Suede” or “Charlatans U.K.”
