The first 15 minutes of the show was Jemaine talking over Bret dicking around with the soundless keytar. At first I thought it was a bit of comedy, but after the 5 minutes or so it became unfunny.

But the boys soon redeemed themselves when they called out a woman in the audience holding up a sign asking Bret to the prom. Bret said that she must be 16 if she was going to the prom but apparently, she was 26, to which Bret dryly retorted, “you must be pretty stupid then if you’re still in high school.” It was magic.

ended around 655 (45 minute show) they were going to play inner city pressure to open but bret’s keytar didn’t work at first so they switched the order

then i bought their cd and got in line for the signing…and waited…and waited…

nearly 3 hours later (!) i got up to the table. they were a little fried from all the people before me but were nice. i got a little nervous and called jemaine bret by accident – oops! he said not to worry, he forgets which one he is sometimes too
