Tips, feedback, questions, & submissions:
Awesome shots of these bands. I especially enjoyed Autolux and the Raveonettes, but what about Kinky? They put on a really good show and and had a legion of fans that brought a different energy at the Antics stage. Despite the heat, this was an awesome festival that seemed to be well-coordinated and made Pasadena “hip”.
Yeah, great music day for sure. The heat really was the only negative. Manageable crowds, easy to get around, and a good lineup (especially for a free event). Next year the promoters should string some shading material between the buildings so there is some serious respite from the sun…
The Freek Show approves.
