I just tried Pho Minh this past Sunday since reading the Times article on Friday 05/01/09. Best “clear” “tasty” no MSG Pho broth I have ever had. I also think the egg rolls are the best out there! I met the young owner Eric, very nice kid trying to make a go of it in a very competetive neighborhood. Get over there and try it, I promise you will not be dissapointed!

I definitely need to try this out! My brother lives near there. Pho Minh just got mentioned in the LA Times and Jonathan Gold, the doyen of food critics, gave it a rave review.

Didn’t wanna comment until this is at LEAST a week old cuz… straight up em-bare-assing. My uber grubbin’ pal Erik M (translator of all good Thai languag restaurant menu’s) was also @ Pho Minh on the second week. Next time you guys are in the hood, hit me up.

DO NOT touch Mr. B’s. Just because I have their biz card in my ashtray doesn’t mean it’s edible. Try.. City Baguette on Garvey, it’s on the way to Minh’s, and it’s good & humble
