The remarkable thing was that this line:

“…perched atop a rolling chair, tearing down blue painting tape from the ceiling trim in the Sandalwood conference room, juggling pilsner all the while…”

actually applied again to the exact time of today’s temblor, so I didn’t have to change that at all.
