Damn the article, I’m wondering whose hair Beck is wearing. Either he’s channeling Beyonce disguised as Mia Farrow or he’s emulating Chloë Sevigny on one of her pseudo-lesbian, tree hugger, Girl Scout leader, just straight up tacky days.

Point of order/background/clarificationofTomWaitsnotknowing:

MacArthur Park Lake was drained during the second leg of Red Line construction extending it to Western Avenue from Alvarado. The subway goes pretty much directly under the lake and they didn’t want to risk a collapse of all that water’s weight while tunneling.
