Rather than to risk the Ed McMahon treatment and await a bailout from Donald Trump, they got the party started and "mysteriously" ;) the roof caught ablaze. They just KNEW white folks had insurance. Pffffttttt. Look, the Getty needed publicity. People consider peanut butter and jelly two meals now so they don't have time or money to patronize The Getty. (Even if it's free admission, you need gas money or bus fare.) The Getty figured it could garner publicity on TMZ if it was in flames. After all, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and the Kardashian catastrophes are on fire and people log onto the Net daily to read about/follow them. I suppose the story was better than the reality, huh?
