Last Minute Ticket Giveaway: Ace Frehley @ GRAMMY Museum (Q&A) (Monday)
Heads up people. Former “Space Ace” guitarist and gifted graphic designer Paul “Ace” Frehley (Did you know? Frehley designed the KISS logo!) will play the Sunset Strip Music Festival, Saturday (Viper Room to be precise) and will be at the GRAMMY Museum downtown, come Monday (he’s got a new album coming out Tuesday). This is your big chance to see Ace, Freely:
On Sept. 14, 2009, The GRAMMY Museum will host legendary rock guitarist Ace Frehley as he discusses his new album, Anomaly (Bronx Born), the day before its release.
“As a Museum designed with the music fan in mind, we are thrilled to offer a chance to hear from one of rock’s most beloved guitarists in such an intimate way,” said Executive Director Robert Santelli, who will conduct the interview. “Since this is Ace Frehley’s first record in twenty years, we’re excited that he chose to share his music here first.”
Flaunting fiery riffs, pristine production and jaw-dropping craftsmanship, Anomaly, on Frehley’s own Bronx Born Records, ties together the original KISS axeman’s trailblazing past, present and future. Scheduled for liftoff on September 15, Frehley’s fifth solo album—following 1978’s self-titled classic, 1987’s Frehley’s Comet, 1988’s Second Sighting and 1989’s Trouble Walkin’—will be distributed by Sony/Red with Rocket Science providing a full label service platform….
Before an intimate audience of 200 in the Museum’s GRAMMY Sound Stage, Frehley will answer Santelli’s questions about the inspirations, songwriting, collaboration, and studio experience behind Anomaly. Following the interview, Frehley will take questions from the audience and sign copies of the album.
First five people to mail me here win a pair of tickets to see Frehley, freely, at the GRAMMY Museum this Monday. You will be notified over the weekend if you’ve won. Good luck!
