Yes so expensive but they sold out all the tickets so the price was ok for several peoples. Complain about ticket fee is old like Pearl Jam did in 1994. This shows is only 250 people maximum so you not compare to 10,000 people forum show. And you do not say the last show is for charity is why it’s most expensive because you want to make Prince look bad.

Congrats, you caught me. I just wanted to make Prince look bad.

NO! Wendy I did not want to make Prince look bad, I love Prince. Tickets were on sale when I posted this information, so to correct you, I actually attempted to inform a few people (not unlike yourself) of these shows. That is what we do here, as FYI, since you are presumably new to this blog. We are also regularly budget-conscious, thus the disclosure in the headline of this post. Finally: a quick google search of “House of Blues Sunset Strip capacity” returns a dozen-odd capacity counts for the House – and none of them are remotely near 250. In fact most if not all are well over 1,000. I’d check with the venue myself, assuming it mattered, but it seems less work to smugly chide you, here, now, in my very own comment thread. Have a blessed evening and I hope you are at a holy ungodly expensive-ass Prince concert, right now. (If you respond tonight, that tells me you are not there.) Say hello to Lisa. Much love Ryan

Yeah you are taking a shot at THE MAN by hitting hard on his prices. Just own it. But you totally missed the point that the shows are not all in the same room. If you bothered looking closer at ticketmaster you would have seen the deets:

Jazz Café – 21+ w/ID – Doors 10pm / Show 11pm – 250 capacity – House of Blue Sunset Strip Restaurant – Will Call only. This event is 21+ with valid ID.

Private Charity Event – 21+ w/ID Doors 12am / Show 1am – 100 capacity – House of Blues Sunset Strip Foundation Room – Will call only. This event is 21+ with valid ID.

Being in a room with THE MAN jamming for only 100 is worth 5 bills even if none of the $ was going to charity. If you don’t have that kind of cheddar, no big deal, just don’t hate on those that do.
