He’s mixed up Jazzmaster & Strat – both for Pavement shows – http://www.losanjealous.com/2010/10/06/photos-pavement-matador-at-21-las-vegas-october-1-2010-matador21/ – and occasional Gibson – but the Strat is one I most identify him with – it’s the guitar all over Slanted & Enchanted – even the bass on that record is a tuned-down Strat.
Is he strictly Strats these days? And what’s with the layers of tape behind the bridge of his guitar?
