Happy birthday to LA’s own David Lynch today: transcendental meditation proponent, purveyor of coffee, former Indie103.1 (RIP) weather reporter, probably my all-time favorite director, and surely one of the most unique voices in Los Angeles, period. Interestingly enough my sister, a like-minded avant-film buff, was also born on this day. Happy birthday sis, as well! Suffice it say the first day of Aquarius (tropical zodiac) truly brings about some sort of sea change, for in my experience both these cats do things a little differently. Lynch is self-explanatory.
