PICK OF THE WEEK: Lilys, Human Television @ Spaceland

Two shoegaze bands from Philly, Lilys and Human Television, take the stage Wednesday night at Spaceland. Philadelphia: land of Cheesesteaks, Liberty Bell, Dr. J and Shoegaze music.

Their latest LP…is titled Peregrine, and musically calls to mind the Peregrine Falcon’s crazy hunting style-soaring, then free-falling, over its prey/the listener. – Pitchfork
