Brasilintime Premiere Week Kicks Off Tonight

Mochilla, the same folks who brought you Keepintime some years back, have finally returned with the finished Brasilintime DVD. The film will be premiered in Los Angeles tonight; first of a mini-week’s worth of activities planned for Los Angeles by the artists and filmmakers. Behold:

• American Cinematheque film screening tonight (17th) at the Egyptian accompanied by cast/crew Q&A
• Photo exhibit @ Turntable Lab Wednesday (18th)
• Live show @ Mayan Thursday (19th) (Paul Humphrey, James Gadson, Derf Reklaw, Babu, J.Rocc, Cut Chemist, Madlib and direct from Brasil João “Comanche” Parahyba, Ivan “Mamão” Conti & Dj Nuts. Special guests TBA.)

Tickets to the screening and the live show can be purchased here; Wednesday’s photo exhibit is free (caveat: I’ve never walked out of Turntable Lab empty-handed).
