Hot off the heels of their performance at Coachella’s Sahara tent, Hot Chip brought their icy cool brand of electro-soul-pop to Downtown LA. The band had the entire crowd dancing with the same frenzy created over the weekend as they ripped through most of their latest album, Made in the Dark. As you can see, lead vocalist Alexis Taylor stood out in a “Devo” bright yellow suit. Their amazing set at Coachella was evoked when the band performed a short version of “Nothing Compares to U,” showing that they’ve been down with Prince from the beginning.
