    It was an epic set. “Sidewalk,” “Car,” “Traces,” etc. It wasn’t crowded at all.

    I don’t think hipsters are into rad guitars and t-shirt wearing, normal-looking dudes.

    @Darren: thanks. it was great running into you.

    some random tidbits that i remember from Built To Spill’s set: someone in the crowd impatiently yelled out, “Conventional Wisdom” right after the first song. during one of the songs Martsch’s vocals sounded uncannily like Ben Bridwell (or the other way around if you prefer). i asked around for a second opinion and i got lots of different comparisons instead. sure they only wore t-shirts but they wore pants. last few times i saw them they wore shorts which really made them look ‘normal’. it definitely wasn’t as packed as the previous night for Conor but was still well attended.
