Once again this year, Record Store Day falls right in the middle of the festival on Saturday, April 16th! ZIA will be celebrating in style by having great music exclusives and special RSD pieces available at the ZIA tent. There are some incredible exclusive products being made available for this very special holiday including releases from artists and bands performing this year at Coachella!

Jimmy Eat World will be releasing a special Coachella version of “Bleed American” 10th Anniversary Limited Edition 3LP re-issue featuring a disc of rarities and b-side pressed on colored 140 Gram vinyl, each hand number with a gold foil stamp. Duran Duran will release their new single “Girl Panic!” on 7″ single featuring a remix version by David Lynch. American hardcore punk band OFF! Will be releasing a super cool 4-track 7″ single “Live At Generation Records”!

Internationally acclaimed artist, Frank Kozik has created a special art figure for Record Store Day 2011! This specially designed piece is a 5” figurine appropriately named RPM. There will be 4 unique figures, The Anarchy Punk, The Super Hero, The Monster and The Let’s Party Bear. The figures will be limited to only 5,000 pieces (1500 each of the Punk/Hero/Monster and 500 Let’s Party) and available on Record Store Day at the ZIA Records booth at the Coachella Festival. Fans can expect more unique RSD pieces from a diverse array of artists such as a split 7” with Green Day & Husker Du, Jimi Hendrix 7”(with a brand new track), Mastodon & ZZ Top split 7”, Red Hot Chili Peppers & Ramones split 7”, The Rolling Stones 7”, a Foo Fighter’s cover album, Beach Boys 10”, The Doors 7”, AC/DC 7”, Daft Punk – Tron 10” EP, The Decemberists Live CD, Rush 7”, The Gorillaz “Fall” on LP and 100’s more!

ZIA Records will be offering shipping for items purchased over the festival weekend. ZIA will also have an option for customers who would like to have their items put on hold in the comfy, cool ZIA tent.
