Multi-dimensional installation derived from the remains from the artist’s Santa Monica Studio fire in December of 2006. The show will feature an inspired selection and survey of surviving works from over 500 collected paintings, drawings, collages on wood, texts and photographs that were in the studio during the fire.

A group show at GR2 that will benefit Kitten Rescue, a Los Angeles-based organization that saves kittens and cats from the high-kill shelter system and fosters them until they can find the right homes. The nation’s top competitive eaters will converge at the historic Queen Mary for the Queen Mary World Chili Cheese Fries Eating Championship. Many fans remember last year, when Sonya Thomas edged out Joey Chestnut by just one ounce. Chestnut will no doubt want another chance at this weighty title and the generous purse offered by the Queen Mary.
