Friends we are in for an amazing, incredibly sad performance this Sunday at Disney Hall. I mean that in all the best ways; we’re talking fado here.
Programme:
Portuguese fado singer Mariza makes a triumphant return to Walt Disney Concert Hall, where, for one night only, the stage becomes a taverna, designed by Frank Gehry especially for this event.
So basically for this performance, you’re watching Mariza sing heart-rending tales, on a Gehry set, on a Gehry-designed stage, inside a Gehry hall. Friends and lovers this truly is your night of fado and Gehry any way you slice it. Make it happen.
