New Silversun Pickups Video Set in Downtown

By Victor - Tuesday March 04th 2008

Silversun Pickups’s “Little Lover’s So Polite,” shot by Joaquin Phoenix, straight to you, hot off the PR wire.

Always good to see Downtown used for something other than a backdrop for a car commerical or a Tom Cruise movie.

The photography mostly shoots around recognizable details and landmarks (save for maybe glimpses of the Library Tower crown, the river bridge cutout pattern rails) in this clip, but somehow the mood feels like our Downtown. Care to offer a guess why? The total absence of noctural pedestrians? The yellow light?

What now?
