Did a band named The Morning Benders open for them? I ask because I ran into them at a truck stop in Laramie, WY last month while they were en route from Chicago to SF and I was en route from Losanjealous to Chicago. (Between their haircuts and the fact that they were four skinny guys hanging around a van, it was pretty obvious that they were an indie rock band on tour.) Anyhow, they said they were going to open for Supergrass at the Avalon.
Haha yeah they did. They also happened to rock.
Yeah, the Benders are a great live band but just a bunch of humble guys – they also opened for the Kooks last month at the Wiltern so am sure they’re building the old fanbase in Losanjealous
