Did a band named The Morning Benders open for them? I ask because I ran into them at a truck stop in Laramie, WY last month while they were en route from Chicago to SF and I was en route from Losanjealous to Chicago. (Between their haircuts and the fact that they were four skinny guys hanging around a van, it was pretty obvious that they were an indie rock band on tour.) Anyhow, they said they were going to open for Supergrass at the Avalon.

Yeah, the Benders are a great live band but just a bunch of humble guys - they also opened for the Kooks last month at the Wiltern so am sure they’re building the old fanbase in Losanjealous
