That was a great show, but tooooooooo damn loud. For a largely quiet band the show was ear-ringing.

My first time seeing my favorite band live. It was better than I had hoped for. We were right up front against the stage in front of Stuart. I learned that Mogwai sure love their Red Stripe beer. I have always heard about how loud they are live, so I bought some fancy concert earplugs just for the show and they didn’t let me down. The only song I was disappointed they didn’t play was Mogwai Fear Satan, which they played the previous night in San Francisco, but I like that they change it up every night. I will definitely be front and center again next time they are back in town. Would that I could buy you all a pint. Thanks for the great night, you lovable Scottish fuzzballs.

Thanks for the pics, what an amazing show, I’ve wanted to see them for ages. I arrived tired but they woke me up.

I saw them last at Coachella in 2006 – and it was the reason I bought tickets to this show. I thought the set-list was better at Coachella, but Tuesday wasn’t bad.
