Best Concert 2008: Andy Walo Fans Upping The Ante; Andy Yet To Call Out Thom Yorke or Aziz In Person

Blues guitarist Andy Walo plays the Redondo Beach Pier each and every Saturday. He is currently beating Radiohead, TV on the Radio, AC/DC, The Cure, Portishead, Megapuss (feat. Aziz), Hall and Oates, Fleet Foxes, The Mars Volta, Foo Fighters, Beachwood Sparks, Jay Z, Prince, David Liebe Hart, Mayor Villaraigosa, Sigur Ros and about 500 other concerts in our annual Best Concert poll. Get out the vote! Andy’s fan base has spoken, and is speaking still. What it is speaking… is Andy Walo.

Andy Walo has not issued an official statement regarding the poll at press time.

    Based on that photo alone, they may as well just drop “ARTIST” from the award and just anoint Andy “WINNER: BEST MALE”.

    Well thanks a lot! I never checked this site out before, I thought it was a ‘dating service’ sorry. Anyway, I’m honored that people voted for me. We’re just an Indie-Blues-Rock band lucky to play music fulltime. My personal favorite Concerts were The Arctic Monkeys at Cochella, and Colin Hay from ‘Men At Work’ in Nasville, were we opened up the show. I’m not sure who Tom Yorke or Azis is. Thanks again – aw.
