No maybe about it – looking at this set, I’m amazed. Finding it hard to make a case for any other show I’ve seen rivaling this for my all time #1.

One small clarification for the usually reliable soundcheck.freedomblogging.com – it was Hendrix alright – but “Foxy Lady” that Macca & Co. jammed out on.

I definitely remember it being Foxy Lady. There must be a youtube of it somewhere. It was amazing how many people were still buzzing about the set on Sunday.

Your “source” bailed early with everyone else and missed the third encore! Maybe I’m Amazed and then Michael Jackson joined for Say Say Say. Still can’t believe it!!!

I was there. He did “I Saw Her Standing There” after “Lady Madonna.”

OMG. You guys do not understand. Paul was pretty boring and not fun to watch up through Long and Winding Road. First of all, he was late, and his bass wasn’t turned up enough. Then, he played way too many Wings songs. Me and my friends took off during Long and Winding Road. I understand that after that he played a bunch of Beatles songs, and I’m disappointed I missed it, but dammit Paul I needed to get my sleep to survive all three days and watching you until 1 was not going to cut it!

@Zack… you left and said it was boring? The end of Long and Winding Road is right when my wife and I got over to him. There was not a single moment after that where we weren’t absolutely enthralled. His show on Friday night is easily in my top 2-3 of all time, probably #1. We still made it through the end of the Cure on Sunday night too. You missed out on a life changing show.

    PAUL WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zack: sorry, but you’re an idiot…paul started 24 minutes after he was scheduled to. BIG DEAL. plus it takes a bit of time to dial in when switching bands. DUH. it’s sad that some people give up like that. OMG ZACK.

anyway…to the real fans: lets hope he plays again soon!!!

Boring? Sleep? WTF!! I only slept 8hrs the whole weekend. When you have the chance to see the best concert of your life you can´t sleep. For me was a sexual experience, was way too much of what I expected. At the end of the concert I was speechless and crying.
    The best!!!

How ANYONE could have left that show early is beyond me! I was there and it was the most amazing show I have ever seen (and I have seen a LOT). It was a life changing experience.

Zack you’re insane. Paul was AMAZING!! Its just so unfortunate that I was so extremely thirsty, and my back was killing me. Between DRIVE MY CAR and MY LOVE I was in a lull and in pain, and felt like I was going to pass out, but Paul’s magic got me through it and after BAND ON THE RUN I was completely lost into the music.

FREAKIN’ AWSOME MAN. LONG LIVE PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did Michael Jackson really join Paul for “say, say, say”? If so it must be his last public performance, so why haven’t clips of this been played non-stop since MJ’s passing?

Say, Say, Say and The Girl is Mine to be exact

I’ve seen Paul a few times, the last time I went up for one of the United Center shows since he wasn’t hitting St. Louis. On the 93 tour once in StL and then the KC show…The 02 show was MUCH heavier than 93, I’m a fan of heavy, don’t get me wrong but, the 93 tour was just the most amazing band he’s ever amassed…I recorded the KC show and the tape is out there, despite a tween sitting next to me pretending it was 64 and she was required to scream in THE most shrill voice, the show is a real gem…I have one of the 89 shows from the Rosemont and that’s good too, but the 93 band…just can’t be out done…
