Beloved yellow Los Angeles-founded casual dining eatery and home to no small number of contentious Losanjealous staff subcommittee meetings, the California Pizza Kitchen (NASDAQ:CPKI), is getting a revamped menu for fall:
Guests will now be able to order any of California Pizza Kitchen’s innovative pizzas on a new honey-wheat with whole grain crust and any of their twelve pastas on multigrain penne.
New items include (tasty emphasis mine):
Tuscan White Bean Minestrone Baja Fish Tacos with sautéed wild-caught Mahi Mahi and Steak Tacos with grilled steak, accompanied by fresh shredded cabbage and homemade ranchito sauce. Both versions will be served with blue & white corn tortilla chips and homemade roasted tomato salsa Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad Chilled-grilled chicken breast, dried cranberries, toasted walnuts, celery, onions and mayonnaise, topped with sliced fresh Roma tomatoes and shredded lettuce. Albacore Tuna Salad CPK’s tuna salad with mild onions, celery and mayonnaise, topped with sliced fresh Roma tomatoes and shredded lettuce. Chicken Club Chilled-grilled chicken breast with applewood smoked bacon, sliced fresh Roma tomatoes, fresh avocado, shredded lettuce and mayonnaise. A dessert classic, White Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake
Personally, I’m looking forward to the mahi mahi tacos accompanied by fresh shredded cabbage and homemade ranchito sauce served with blue & white corn tortilla chips and homemade tomato salsa. Which new menu item(s) are you most looking forward to?

Hold for answer please, still trying to figure out if you slipped us an Arnie with all those emboldened words
ok, didn’t find anything. I’m going with the applewood smoked white chocolate shredded strawberry blue-tuscan bean ranchito sauce. Or the sliced fresh roma tomatoes; those sound nice.
sorry – I’d like to change my answer to the mayonnaise.
I should note that I asked my server if I could get one mahi mahi taco and one steak taco instead of two of the same and her head exploded. Please do not confuse your CPK servers.
When I first visited Boston a little over ten years ago I looked around to see if there actually were ‘Boston Market’ chicken restaurants, as if to uncover some terrible conspiracy. Of course the first chain restaurant I saw in the city was a CPK. I’ll confuse my server by asking for extra mild onions.
