Campaign to Push Rage Against The Machine to #1 U.K. Christmas Single Succeeds

RAGEGreat story coming out of the U.K. pop world this week where a campaign to push Rage’s “Killing In The Name” to #1 on the U.K. charts for Christmas (a big deal over there) purely as an effort to keep the manufactured pop of X Factor from an otherwise inevitable victory has succeeded.

The Guardian has been all over it–championing the cause, mocking the cause, and, yesterday, reporting Rage’s victory.
