LA DJ/producer duo Classixx filled up the courtyard of the Hammer Museum playing their dance tunes and remixes, on Thursday, July 25. These two have some of the hottest remixes around — cue their take on Phoenix’s “Lizstomania” — and also just released their own first album Hanging Gardens in May.

The night was part of a 5-week series of free music presented by KCRW, “Music for Better Living.” As a bonus, KCRW members gained access to a bar area upstairs, where there was a ping-pong table, lounge seating, and complimentary cocktails .

This Thursday, August 1, is the final installment of this series at the Hammer Museum, with The Decoders and KCRW DJ Anne Litt.
