what about the bevy of quality musicians that prove their talents cannot be confined to one medium…garth brooks made a seamless jump a few years back with that aussie rocker. i was sold but good, my friend. and let’s not even get me started on cher.
I’m just talking actors turned musicians. There are plenty of musicians that been great actors. DMX for instance.
i once saw steven seagal play with the allman brothers in new orleans. it could likely be argued that [steven-musician over guitar] is greater than or equal to [steven-actor over ondeadlyground] and [steven-actor over outforakill]. The fact remains though: [steven-musician over guitar] is basically equivalent to [steven-actor over portly kung-fu hasbeen vessel]. [steven-musician over guitar] is certainly LESS than or equal to [steven-actor over hardtokill] and equally less than or equal to [steven-actor over outforjustice].
Algebra aside, it is safe to say his skillset in the martial arts arena remain unchallenged. The man doesn’t need cables and trickery to flip all about the place – just a grumbling power punch or two, feet planted securely on terra firma. That’s all you need. Power punches make up for paunches every time.
